- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had an appointment scheduled one morning for my son. I was only able to stay for about half of my appointment because I had to go to work. Since Dr. Mckinnon was running late, his assistant did everything she could do and then had us go back out to the waiting room until Dr McKinnon could get to us. I apologized and explained my situation to the receptionist, who was very apologetic and kind. I figured i would just have to reschedule. While I was at work, i received a voicemail from his assistant who gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him at that number if i got off after hours, which i did. I called him after i got off work, and he offered to come open the office again so that he could finish examining my son himself! He was very thorough, despite the late hour, and was able to explain my sons situation so that i could understand it in a way no other doctor had been able to. I would recommend him! ***note**** probably don't expect him to open his office for everyone every single time something happens. i tell this story to show his exceptional customer service and ability to go above and beyond, not to set an expectation that everyone should abuse. *****September 07, 2017by Mindee Hibbert
